As I look through the images i've captured over the last few months, of rallies, protests, and gatherings, I take one thing from it all, as much as Trump was our common denominator, so was our power. As of right now you can all say that you successfully changed the world, because you all changed me. You invited me in and allowed me to be a part of something, offering the only thing I really have. I hope when you see yourselves as this collection, you see yourselves the way I see you. As a force. We are the wall.
As I sit here on the eve of the inauguration, I expected to be more afraid. I expected to have a passionate fiery tangent of things left to say, or thoughts of things that maybe were left unsaid, or maybe things no one else has heard. One last hail mary that would save us all. One last intelligent masterfully worded sentence that could wake the sleeping. And protect all of our futures. But strangely, surprisingly, I'm at peace with it. All I can seem to think about, is all of you. Solidarity. Platform for Protest workshop.

These photos are absolutely amazing and tell the story of our evening(s) together doing what we can to let America and the world know that we do not blithely accept hate, disrespect, misogyny, or any of the many heinous tags you want to put on this incoming administration. Some may see naming a project "pussy" as self-defeating but I see it as taking back the power from a patriarchal society and owning the power of the pussy!!!

Your words are right on. I'm so glad I was able to participate - in some small, yet significant way. Showing up to knit was showing up to blow off steam, to gab gossip, to laugh and groan, to voice fears and to think aloud ideas. It motivates me, and it empowers my sense of community. Thank you!
